Hinsdale Showhouse Dining Room: Kreitinger Design chose a dining room in this 1996 Showhouse to explore the whole notion of what a dining room can be. The formal matched mahogany suite has been replaced with an eclectic multifunctional mix of furniture adapted to today’s lifestyle. Jack designed the matching cabinets to house home office and media equipment. He incorporated a Greek Key pattern found in the room’s mantle into the cabinet cornice and had glass reverse silver-leafed for the doors.
